A restaurant serving the dishes of Soller by the sea.
To dine at Ca’s Mariner is to embrace a true Solleric experience. What can be more authentic than Pep the fisherman making his living from the sea in the Port of Soller. When those days were done he took his family up to the top of the Coll Mountain where they opened an iconic restaurant and lived overlooking the Soller Valley. The Soller tunnel opened and the mountain resting places changed direction to cyclists and Pep and his family resettled in the Ca’s Mariner Restaurant in the Port of Soller.
This is the home of local Mallorquin cooking and all the favourites are to be found here. Home made Bacalao dishes, baby goat, shoulder of lamb and Frito Mallorquin are all here. The desserts are from recipes of Mum Concha and she shares them with you with love.
These days Concha and Pep are semi retired and the hospitality is brought to you by Marie Jose, Conchi and Jose - the children of the house who have learned all from their parent’s skill. Ca’s Mariner is in their blood and they delight in bringing you the local dishes of the Soller Valley and the sea. They all live locally and are flexible about winter openings. If the sun is shining and there are customers about then the place is likely to be open. The main season is from February to November but don’t be surprised to see them in other months.
This family restaurant welcomes a huge local following of people who appreciate the traditional cuisine and home made touch of the wonderful dishes on offer. Weekends are especially busy and it is worth booking a table for Sunday Lunch.
